The North Country Arts Council (NCAC) began as the North Country Artists’ Guild in 1948. In 2009, the mission was expanded to promote growth in and through all creative art forms including, but not limited to, music, theater, dance, literature, and visual arts. A non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, the NCAC is a tool for promoting and celebrating cultural opportunities in our community, making it a better place to live.
Here you will find all the pertinent information needed to enjoy the cultural, educational, recreational and social opportunities available through the NCAC.
The NCAC is On the Move!
This Giving Tuesday, let’s propel the North Country Arts Council into a bold new future. With your support, we’ll expand our educational programs, relocate to a vibrant new space, and continue to champion local artists.
Your donation will power:
- Innovative Education: Expanding our arts education programs to reach more people of all ages, backgrounds and socio-economic status
- A New Home: Supporting our move to a larger facility that will foster creativity and collaboration
- Artist Empowerment: Providing opportunities for local artists to thrive and share their talent with our community
Join us in shaping the future of the arts in the North Country. Donate today!
The North Country Arts Council is supported in part by American Rescue Plan funding, through the St. Lawrence County Arts Council, which receives support for the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.”
