The North Country Arts Council began as the North Country Artists’ Guild in 1948. It served the area by providing opportunities to fine artists. In 2009, the mission was expanded to promote growth in and through all creative art forms including, but not limited to, music, theater, dance, literature, and visual arts. A non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, the NCAC is a tool for developing and celebrating cultural opportunities in our community, making it a better place to live.
The NCAC’s ‘Arts On The Square’ is a beautiful, user-friendly arts space for cultural activities, arts education, live performances, gallery exhibits, sales, workshops, meetings and more. Located at 52 Public Square in Downtown Watertown, home of the North Country Arts Council, AOTS will soon to be joined by an incredible new adventure… Screen on the Square. You may follow the Screen On The Square link on our home page if you’d like more information on this project.
