The Art of Storytelling

Thursday, June 20 and Tuesday, June 25 from 6pm to 8pm

Fibonacci Art Gallery

100 Court Street, Watertown

Remember the exciting tales of your youth, or being captivated watching others tell stories about experiences similar to yours? We’re thrilled to announce the revival of our arts education program, starting with a Storytelling Workshop!

Thanks to our partners at the Fibonacci Art Gallery, we are hosting this two-day workshop on June 20 and June 25, 2024 from 6pm to 8pm.

We’re also excited that the instructor for this session is Howl Story Slam Grand Slam winner Tanya Roy!

This two-day class is for everyone! Whether you’re a seasoned storyteller or just starting out, this is your chance to:

🎙️ Discover the power of storytelling and crafting narratives

🎙️ Begin to develop your voice, presence, and the ability to engage an audience

🎙️ Boost your creativity

🎙️ Share stories and build connections with fellow storytellers of all ages and backgrounds

No experience necessary! Tanya will guide you through the process, providing a supportive and encouraging environment. Students will have an opportunity to tell their crafted stories in front of an audience.

This class is based on a pay-what-you-can, sliding scale registration. There is a minimum $10 fee to register with additional donations suggested. Whatever you can pay is OK with us – your support is greatly appreciated. The course is valued at $50 per student.

Space is limited, so register today!
